Hi Everyone, I've resorted to re-opening an old Business Account as my item is too large once parcelled for private selling. It has taken me ages and for the life of me, I cannot work out how to set the 'Returns Policy'. My item is ready to list, but I can't because I'm stuck. Can someone please guide me. I've read what to do (believe it or not!), but I keep coming unstuck. Thanks ever so much.

It might help if you actually told us what problem you are encountering when trying to set the return policy?

First, make sure you have a returns policy here. Then, in the listing template you need to find the "Preferences" box which is underneath the "DELIVERY DETAILS" section. In the "Preferences" box click the pen icon in the top-right of the box and ensure your returns policy is selected.

Whilst I'm not completely familiar with private listings, why can you not use a custom setting for the package?
If your not selling as a business, then you shouldn't be using a business account, so it makes no sense to do so.
I really don't get why it's too large for private selling?

It is too large for the maximum. I had a long conversation yesterday to customer services in Ireland and cutting a long story short, it was concluded that I would go over the maximum limit. That said, I can send this ParcelForce48. They guy did explain the new simple delivery to me and I understand all that better. It's only a few items I may need to sell ..... my life just got a whole life worse financially this morning, so it is worth my while .... I don't mind having to pay any fees, it's better to have some pennies, than none at all. But thank you very much for taking the trouble to reply.

Thank you. Yes, I'm silly .... just struggling to negotiate my way around it all. The reply beneath yours has given me some guidance, so I've done a copy and paste and will see if I can follow that. It was 9 years ago and a lot has changed, so I'm struggling with it all.
