New listing does not show in most obvious search words

Hi. We have a new listing (Micro SD card holder keyring) and when we search for "Micro SD card holder" it does not show up. It only shows up when we type "Micros SD keyring" but clearly no-one's going to search for that! I gather from a weekly chat item that the search looks at the first three words and then 'something else from the description' but it seems bonkers that the obvious isn't selected. Anyone know anything more about the keyword algorithms?

Only eBay knows about their proprietary algorithm, and they're not telling! Experienced Sellers have good data for how to get the Best Match Search to work better for you than this. The main issue is you haven't sold anything for 6-months, or listed anything for 3-months. The algorithm seems to reward consistency so it will take awhile to work your way back up from these listing and selling gaps. Searching just now for "Micro SD card holder keyring" puts your item first... after the 3 sponsored listings, of course.

Only that it seems to place a lot of weight on Item Specifics, in my experience.  If you want your listing to show up when people search for "Micro SD", trying changing your Item Specifics info to "Micro SD" instead of "MicroSD".  This may or may not work, because the the Best Match listings seem to be a mixture of both, but it would be worth trying.

When I searched for "MicroSD card holder", your listing appeared 11th in the search results, which seems to support what I've said above as your listing didn't appear at all when I searched for "Micro SD card holder", as you found.
