More eBay emails on the way?

Looking at the September Seller News I see this:

"Getting orders out on time is a crucial part of delivering a great buyer experience and protecting your seller ratings. With our shipping reminders, we’re helping you keep your orders on track.

A day after an order’s promised handling time, you’ll get an extra nudge to send it out. We’ll send these reminders via email and notify you through the eBay app if you have it.

Once you get your shipping label, you can manually add the tracking number to the order, or have it added automatically when you use eBay Labels.

After that, you’ll get two more notifications: one confirming the item's been shipped and is on its way to the buyer and another once it’s been delivered."

I hope we can turn these off because it's really going to clog up inboxes.

If things carry on as they are at the moment I don't expect to get very many of these emails - if any.

Re: More eBay emails on the way?

It's not the late shipping emails I'm talking about, it's the extra emails with tracking updates.

Can sellers block ebay emails?

Ive managed to get community messages going to spam, but other junk seems more difficult to stop.

Looking at the September Seller News, the major issues which Users have identified, dont appear to be getting a mention from ebay.

@designedinashed

I have regular buyers who pay and ask me to hold, either to combine, or if they are away from home - I have 'work arounds' which aren't ideal,  but what's the official ebay process for these welcome buyers?
