Messaging system: showing auction start price as the selling price

I've just had a message from a buyer, and the message page tells me:  SOLD for 19.99

The item actually sold for double that price (it was an auction).

But eBay have told me the item sold for the starting price.

Look in Orders , see what it says there 

sounds like another glitch

The order page shows the correct amount.  It's just the eBay-generated heading on the message-from-the-buyer page itself.
