Just another example of eBay's postage misinformation

After being dragged through false dispatch defect, extended delivery estimates, same day delivery somehow or even posting on Saturday despite Mon-Fri only policy, now this...

Having looking into our recent LDD evaluation, we noticed that apparently we provide tracking numbers before we even process or dispatch our orders. Interestingly that happens when no-one is here!

As we only worked from 9am yesterday, started processing our orders at arund 10am, how could we provide the tracking nu,ber at 7.24am? It only happened at around 3pm actually.

Obviously, it may seem not a big deal. It is just to show that 'everything works as designed' as always claimed by CS.

Useless as usual, thanks eBay!

I've noticed similar on mine, I wondered if it was something to do with US time being used.

@nutrafituk  I questioned this about a year ago, as to why my labels had this time difference, I assumed it was to do with the US time difference, if that is the case then do my cut off times have the US time difference too, which would affect my EDD. (Obviously didn’t get a response.)

There is an old thread about it somewhere.

Thanks for your reply. You might be right... a year to sort it out not long enough then, huh? Shame they do not apply the same rule to other updates so it makes sense. Just the usual mess!

Just another example of eBay's postage misinformation

Just looked at one from today.

Ebay tracking - 0713 Number provided, 1905 item received

RM tracking - 1525 Number provided, 1905 item received

So for some reason the Ebay tracking "Number provided" seems to be on the West Coast US time zone but "item received" reverts to UK time. Weird

Thinking about it I can't see how it will adversely affect EDD as that would be based on when the item is actually sent or am I wrong?
