Assuming the bike cost over £135, you will pay import VAT and duties on its arrival in the UK.

Sorry, completely misread your post!
If you are buying a bike that is already in the UK, then there will be no import VAT to pay.

I'm not sure that's correct papso22.
VAT would be payable by the buyer if either the buyer's account or the seller's account were registered anywhere other than the UK, regardless of where either are currently located. The business may well show a a UK address but if it was originally registered as being located in China the buyer would have to pay VAT on the purchase.
@ambirad1955 You need to double-check the location of the seller's account. If it is anywhere other than the UK then previous advice regarding VAT does not apply.

As they are a business seller you can contact them [perhaps by phone?] and get the definitive answer from them as to whether there will be any extra charges

Just a thought -
Have you paid and if so how?
