How to download ebay shop content?

I am shortly closing my shop on Ebay and would like to download the content of the products I have left on there.  I am mainly interested in downloading the description for my items.

I have had a good look about and managed to download one report but the only thing missing from it was the description text!

Does anyone know how, or even if, this can be done please?

It can be done by using the API.

There are a lot of software companies out there that do exactly this in order to copy your listings to other sites.

But unless you know how to do it, your going to be a bit stuffed.

Your only real alternative, is to temporarily use one of these companies and make sure that you can get that information from them onto your own PC, or go to somewhere like Fiverr and employ someone to write the code for you.

There is limited information you can get from Ebay directly.  One particular report which I can't remember at the moment, but you need to ask support to enable it.  Unless of course things have changed as it's quite a long time since I used it.

How did you download the content please? 

Did it have photos downloaded as well?

Scratch that.  I was thinking of Amazon and not Ebay for the hidden report.

The only report available is the listings report, which you can find in the reports menu.

Otherwise, you only really have the option of the API.

There is no way to download descriptions from listings that i know of.  I tried the reports part but it doesn't pull the information required.

I ended up cut and paste into spreadsheet
