Couple of weeks ago it occurred to us that we hadn't sold anything through GSP recently. So checked our postage policies and it's been turned off across all policies, not something we would do. Turned it back on and the orders resumed.
Checked again today and ebay have turned GSP off for all except one policy so we've turned it back on again. Has anyone else seen this or are we missing something?

Yeah I noticed this too, it's when you make changes to the policy, it flicks it off sometimes for some reason - you then have to go back into the policy and JUST turn GSP on. Then it resolves and sticks. God knows how long I had it turned off for!

Are those listings potentially going to Europe with those new GDSRPT or whatever the acronym name is for having Records for all your items maybe?

Yes, it was off on two of my policies in the past few weeks. I had a message from a US buyer to ask if I would ship to them and thought it was strange as I send through GSP. I had to switch it back on again.

Thought it might be that but its odd that we've not had a warning that this is the case

Not good. Needs sorting asap. Sellers need all the help they can get at the minute.

eBay switched off GSP in my postage policies too without my knowledge.

The issue is it is easy to turn it back on but any locked listings (offers have been sent, or I presume if an auction has bids or less than 1 day left) can’t be changed.
It then creates a copy of policy for those with GSP still switched off. Sent offers that last for 4 days are a real PITA when things like this happen.

I have had exactly the same ,been going on for months ,I check my listings every day now to make sure the GSP isn't switched off but probably people overseas have given up trying ,I haven't had any buyers from overseas since before christmas ,and my partner sold a book the other day he uses GSP for all his items but when the buyer paid the GSP had been switched off and he had to work out the postage costs himself and fill in a customs label ,but in the end the cost to send it was a lot cheaper than GSP .

This morning my partner made up a new listing for a lady in Greece who wanted a few items from his site. All his listings have global delivery active. She came back to say she cannot purchase as it states (she added a screen shot) 'Unfortunately this seller won't send this item to Greece - you can update your delivery address and try again or find similar items with another seller' (with a highlighted link to other sellers). He checked the settings and global active is showing as enabled in postage preferences and all seems OK on the listings.
We contacted customer services who confirmed that all looked ok and 'the GSP toggle is turned on'. The agent then said 'it seems there is an ongoing issue with GSP. I would suggest you to opt out of GSP and you can add your own international postage service and ship the item'. When pressed the only reply was 'I am unable to give an exact timeframe for when this will be resolved'
We have checked the other listings and when you change the postage country (lets say Spain) you get 'Will post to Spain. Read item description or contact seller for postage options' which would indicate GSP is down and not being offered. I have also just been in touch with another private seller and his listings are showing the same and his GSP 'toggle' is showing as on
Not sure what is going on here????

Hi nicful-44
This problem has been brought to the attention of Ebay now for the past month. The listings that I require GSP for are switched on permanently, but are not showing costs internationally to any country.
I haven't sold anything internationally since beginning of Feb.
Spoken to Ebay multiple times, only to be told the same answer. " We are aware of the problem and will let you know when sorted out. "
I urge all sellers it is affecting to check their listings as they may not be aware and report to Ebay. Perhaps then we may get something done about this appalling mess Ebay are in at the moment.

eBay love to change settings behind our back as they know best. I’m tired of it.

Sisters having the same problem now she sells jelly cats a buyer wants to buy a box of them in Germany and GSP keeps flicking on and off.

Ok. You will see from previous messages, there are many sellers who have not had sales from overseas for over 6 week due to GSP not working. Please give Ebay a call. The more sellers complain the better.
