For those brave enough like me who are thinking of putting yourself
in front of the camera when promoting your products on you tube, how
should you talk.
My advice which many content creators disagree with is to NOT read from
a script. This ends up making you voice sound robotic.
Instead , to one side have some bullet points wrote down. Then simply stick to these
and fill in the gaps as you go along.
How to speak into a camera / smart phone lens.
Just relax and imagine you have a friend round for a brew, and talk in
a casual manor as you would do normally. If there are a few slight errors
in pronunciation and one or 2 umms , but, and you know pauses mixed in,
don`t worry. Its how we normally speak.
Remember, just stick to the product demo. The viewer did not click on the video
to hear your life story or how to subscribe, like and share. They just want to know
how to use the darn thing (and where to buy)
Good luck
