There haven't been any announcements, but I thought this was a limited time offer, so it probably won't be extended.

Personally i think the Final Value Fee should be removed all together for everything. We are already paying % selling fee on all listing categories. I sell a lot of cheaper Jewellery and gift items sometimes around the £5 mark and the 30p final value fee leaves me with so little profit after postage.
It would really help business sellers of cheaper items to do away with the Final Value Fee. Other selling platforms dont do a % and then a final value fee. It also makes it so much more complicated for working out selling costs and accounting.

Ebay should have just gone to 3 - 5% final value fees across the board regardless of if you are a private seller or business seller. It would have made the platform clear, easy to understand and easier for ebay to manage. Sadly the horse has bolted and what we see now is a total and utter mess. It simply cannot continue and big changes in 2025 are inevitable as whether ebay wants to make them or not they will have to.

They have to do something about the business fee's for sure. It is not right at all to provide a fee free service to private sellers and everyone else is paying a % and a final value fee.
I would like it to be a tiered fee based on the selling price - anything under £20 3 - 5 % and no other final value fee, then 5 - 10% up to £50 or £100. Then a few % more over £100 and onwards. Free for all pre owned clothing is ok as long as it is not new with tags.
Who knows what they will do in the New Year. Because we dont know yet, i dont know either what to do because of it. It has become a big mess, everything needs to be re worked. It used to be so nice selling on Ebay, i dont want to give up but they must do something to help small businesses and make it a level playing field again.

We know that the intention is to introduce buyer fees, at least for UK buyers
Now, I haven't heard any percentages but if you Google the AI response reckons it's to be capped at 5% with additional fees of up to £1.
Apparently charged on postage, handling and other fees.
And, also apparently, it's to cover the costs of free private seller fees.
In jewellery the fees at over 18% with VAT. Unless they are thinking of reducing business seller fees, or only applying buyer fees to private sales, this won't be the straw that breaks the camel's back, it'll be a pike of bricks dropped onto the poor camel from 6 storeys up.
