I was hit with a false vero last night and from what ive heard many others have from Puma via Red Points..... looking at the reviews for them on trust pilot its safe to say they hit alot of people with false VeROs.
My item is an older track jacket so its not like i have a receipt for an item that i got used myself, but none the less its 100% genuine, its very clear from the pictures that this is genuine, but because of their poor excuse for an bot detection AI deemed it to be counterfeit, i now have a VeRO attached to my account and have to spend my time fighting it.
I appealed to red points and just got a email telling me to file a report to puma if i want it removed
how is it fair that they can plaster you guilty just like that, and then send you on a goose chase to prove your innocence
where is our protection from false veros!

I just had the same in 2 batches over the past 2 nights. All up approximately 40 pairs of PRE-OWNED shoes of various styles. I find it abhorrent that they appear to be trying to stifle sustainability and people saving fashion from landfill.
These aren't even current models so they're not even in competition with their current product.

Puma do not want their items sold on eBay
Even secondhand items
So they ask eBay to remove any Puma items that are listed
eBay doesn't have a standard email to send out in these cases, so they send on alleging your items are counterfeit, when this is not what was alleged at all
The VERO just requests that ANY items with their brand name are removed, so that only authorised retailers can sell them. Even secondhand items.
eBays site, eBays rules. If you don't agree, eBay don't care. It's their site.
You need to apply to be an authorised retailer if you want to sell this brand on eBay

Of course this is why, and it's disgusting behavour. They're misusing the Vero pragramme. I should note that I am in AU using eBay Australia. We have a right to sell our second hand items in this country...

Puma has an official store on ebay.

And..? I'm not selling new stock nor am I even selling current models... We have costumer laws to prevent companies doing this in Australia. They're misusing the Vero programme.

Quite a lot are I’m being sued from an American company I have never heard of before. As bought a few rings off a certain large Chinese company put them up back in 2019. And then I heard along with loads more I’m being sued by American lawyers this year.

Hi, I was going to post back here. We did the same and they've contacted eBay to reinstate the listings. They've got what they probably wanted though, removal of people's listings during black Friday - Cyber Monday sales.
