Having blocked Russia back in 2022 in both Asia & Europe I was pretty annoyed to find the other week that Ebay had unblocked Russia in 1 area. Having corrected it I am even more annoyed tonight to find it unblocked again on one of my Postage policies.
The annoyance turned into anger when I discovered that Israel which I had blocked due to high losses was also now unblocked. When I originally blocked Israel it only appeared in 1 geographical area but I now find that just like Russia it now appears in 2 areas and my block has not been carried forward into the 2nd area. The areas are Middle East & Asia.
Not sure when this happened but as I know a lot of sellers also block Israel I thought I would raise it.
Perhaps kat@ebay can provide an explanation as to why when a country is blocked in one area it doesn't take effect in both areas. After all if I block Israel in the Middle East area its not logical to think that I am going to post to Israel because Ebay have decided its also part of Asia. There is no warning that it appears in more than 1 area.
Also I can't find a way to block the USA as a postage location whilst still keeping Canada unblocked - anyone have any suggestions.
