Ebay categories offer Royal Doultan instead of Royal Doulton

No one seems to have picked up on this.  Royal Doulton is one of the most famous British brands and getting the spelling wrong looks dreadful.Screenshot 2025-01-30 at 11.26.44 pm.png

"Accordian" in the music item specifics really grates with me.

I took eBay years to fix 'Literacy fiction' in books.

I also see a lot of Royal Dalton in my travels  strange you only have to look on the bottom of item and you will see how it’s spelt

Re: Ebay categories offer Royal Doultan instead of Royal Doulton

I've seen "accordian", a basic paperfold e.g. to make rosettes (but "accordion cards" aren't accordion-shaped), actually printed on the packaging of products sold by more than one manufacturer, even the title name of the product.

I can understand the spelling error, as it can sound like "ian". I assumed it was American spelling. As Her Majesty once said of American English: "There's English. And then there are mistakes."

Just noticed 'Cross Boarder Trade' in the tags for the forum.
