Duplicates?

I seldom run auctions - but was wondering,  if I have 2 identical items can I put one in as an Auction and one as a BIN or would this be classed as duplicates?

I don't think it would, but so it dodsn't flag up as one, do the title slightly different for each one, thats what i've done when i do something similar.

What i would do is offer 1 up for Auction. If that sells well you can offer the 2nd one to the underbidder  (2nd chance offer) if that price is also acceptable to you. I have not done an auction for several years now and not even sure if 2nd chance offer is still available.

Second chance offers are ok.

But if you'd listed your first item during a fvf discount promotion, like 70% or 80% off fvf fees, I'm not sure you'd get the fees discount on the 2nd chance item.
