Just signed into ebay via app and a note saying my password had been leaked so have changed it.
anyone got the same notification???

That sounds more than a little dodgy.
Ebay are unlikely to tell you that your password has been leaked and you can virtually guarantee that it would be on the news if there was a leak.
More likely, is a phishing attempt.
I would recommend that you change your password immediately and if your not already using it, enable two factor authentication.

There is another issue.
Some browsers and browser extensions scan a list of compromised passwords.
For example lets assume my username for a sports website is my email and Password123 . That website gets compromised and the email and password combo sold on the dodgy parts of the web,
When my login to ebay is the same email and password combo Google Chrome will flag it up.
You should stop using that password anywhere

I have I changed it with Apple.
came up on iPhone that the password was on a lost.

No I didn’t click into it. Came straight on to eBay and changed the password just in case.

From my ebay I received the following from eBay themselves yesterday
we noticed a new sign in on your account at eBay uk. Here are the details - Time of sign-in

If this was you, there is nothing for you to do. If it wasn’t please change your password right away.
i then followed eBay’s steps to change the password because I don’t live anywhere near Worcestershire I’m in north east England.
