Changing to a business account with my partner

I've had a private account since 2003 and have  recently registered,  with HMRC, a business partnership with my civil partner. Can I change my account to business and run our joint partnership from that account?

Yes, or you could open a new business account and keep your private account for your personal use.

Assuming that it's the one you have posted with, I would recommend that you use that one.

You have established good feedback and the account has been around for quite a long time.

If you want to have a separate personal account, then I would suggest that you open a separate one.

But it's just a matter of amending the various details in your account settings.

That's what i did but i did open a separate business account at the time and started from scratch.
