Hello, I am a business seller with 20 years service and as of Friday 4th April 2025 have started to receive Simple Delivery labels which have overridden my postage policy. When queried, Ebay agent advised that all Business Sellers would have no option but to use Simple Delivery from 15th April 2025 and had been advised. I have had no notification and not happy to post £180 items that exceed medium size parcel using Ebay label.
Is anyone else encountering this problem?

Could you give an example of a listing with free delivery having been applied? I couldn't see it on the few live listings I checked.
This must be a glitch if it has, but a serious one.

The eBay agent is wrong (no suprise there). Only private sellers are being forced to use simple delivery from April 15th, not business sellers (although I imagine it might happen in the future).

I suspect the OP was also mistaken, given that they haven't come back with the evidence.

Not saying it is this, merely that it could be.
Any of you notice the new "Business Seller" newsletters were rebranded to "Seller"?
If that is a platform wide change and everyone is just a seller, can't they hit everyone with everything?

Were you the one that asked about the newsletter in weekly chat?
Had your post deleted from what I understand.

I didn’t bring up the newsletter no.
From what I understand it’s best I don’t comment on any of my posts mid-week 😁. As petty as I may or may not have found the whole situation.

This has been going on for a while now, see: Simple delivery being forced onto business sellers - UK eBay Community
