Automatically added to the Treat 8 promotion without being contacted?

All of my listings have been added to the Treat8 sale promotion and I don't think I was ever notified of it as I have been in the past.

It is on items I make barely any profit on too, is there a way to remove yourself from it?

If not, can someone tell me the percentage eBay cover fee/sale wise? is it 50/50 (so I have my sale reduced by 4% and ebay cover the other 4%?

This looks like one of those discounts that is entirely funded by eBay. If this was a discount code split-funded between eBay and sellers there would almost certainly be a list of qualifying sellers (who the code could be redeemed against) in the terms and conditions.

There is something I'm curious about with these eBay-funded discounts for anyone who knows. If a buyer uses one of these discount codes is the FVF calculated against the discounted or non-discounted selling price?
