There's a new sellers get together/ eBay MeetUp, run by two lovely sellers Scott and Jono. I met Scott at the East Midlands MeetUp back in March and he's got a great seller story.

The MeetUps were announced at last years eBay open as an opportunity for sellers to get together in small groups of around twenty people and do a bit of knowledge sharing. Locations and the odd bit of SWAG are funded by eBay but all the events are hosted by eBay sellers. Some events have eBay, by invite, in attendance depending on the topics being covered.

I'm biased as I've been involved in the Manchester meetup, we hosted the pilot session, but these have been really well received by those attending with a high number of repeat attendees. They're springing up all around the place:

Thanks ojewellery. One about 30 minutes from me in a nice little town so I'm very temped. (Oh I'm East Midlands also, your going?) Sometimes just an excuse to get out for a bit, meet some people and have a free lunch. 😉 It can be enough to recharge the E-bay batteries sometimes.

Just a tad closer than Manchester and a bit easier to get to. 🙂

Rob and Jess, hosts for the Wirral, will be a good team and the agenda is shaping up nicely for an interesting event. Its a nice small event at a good accessible location - I think its my closest event too.
