Your funds will be available for payout once we receive delivery confirmation |

It’s the new system with simple delivery
all items have to go tracked unless exempt
If u don’t use it you have to wait 2 weeks for payment
It’s called extortion maybe

Even for business sellers?

This messsge has been reported by a few business sellers. Kat from ebay confirmed that the message was wrong and that payments would continue as normal for businesses.
No-one has come back and said payments were actually delayed.

I can assure you its happened to me. All my orders are now on hold and will be paid out not until at least 30 days. Calling CS now. If this is true I'm done as a business entity. How can I nuy materials pay for post etc without funds coming in?

Have you a link to where Kat says the message is wrong?

I don't have a business seller account but I just read this read 2 minutes ago, which sounded similar.
Apologies if it's two different things.

Just to add that this has happened to me, too. Was normally due payout today but received nothing, everything is on hold with a note saying payments will be after 72 hours of delivery", no mention of untracked items which make up the majority of my items.

@rdavy - more info about this issue can be found in this discussion:
US sellers have been dealing with this for a few months, including the confusing and incorrect communication in emails/when contacting support that make it sound like this is a sitewide policy change that is being applied to all sellers.
Payment policy updates which went into effect in January state that eBay can apply this hold until after delivery confirmation for some sellers which trip risk factors in some scenarios.
https://pages.ebay.com/payment/2.0/previous-terms/#:~:text=Unless%20subject%20to%20a%20hold
"In some cases (for example, if you are a new seller on eBay), funds may become available for disbursement after the items have been deemed delivered to their shipping destination as described in this help page. "
eBay does not provide a detailed list of those scenarios but they may include (but are not limited to) - new/occasional sellers, sellers who have frequent and/or unresolved claims filed by buyers, sellers with unusual selling patterns (like selling items at a higher value than usual), or other performance related issues.
Given the increasing reports here in the UK community and Kat's answer in that thread, it would appear the same policy is also being applied here as well.
It looks like you typically sell items ~£250 or less but recently had a sale for over £4,200 which would be a significantly higher value than your average and is likely the reason this policy is being applied to your account.
