Hope you're all doing great. I wanted to check in and see if any of you have been facing any hiccups with delivering items within the UK. Lately, I've come across a couple of problems that I thought might be worth discussing.
Firstly, I've had instances where items simply haven't been delivered at all. It's frustrating for both me and the buyers, to say the least. Secondly, even when items do arrive, they seem to be taking much longer than expected. I'm not sure what's causing these delays, but it's becoming a real headache.
To keep track of my shipments, I've been using eBay's label service, which provides automatic tracking numbers. However, here's the kicker: the items I send rarely get scanned when they reach the parcel office. This lack of scanning makes it nearly impossible for me and the buyers to keep an eye on the progress of the delivery.
So, I thought I'd reach out to you all and see if anyone else has been dealing with similar issues. Have you noticed any problems with undelivered items or significant delays in the UK? And have you experienced the same lack of scanning at the parcel office when using eBay labels?
If you have, I'd be extremely grateful for any insights or suggestions you might have. It would be fantastic if we could share strategies to tackle these challenges. Also, if anyone has discovered alternative shipping methods or other tricks that have helped improve delivery and tracking accuracy, please do share your experiences.

11 April I placed an order of boy's brigade badges that never arrived and still say dispatched. I contacted the seller but die to the language barrier it was very unsuccessful. And now 17 June I placed and order of Golecha henna that has been delivered to an imaginary address that doesn't exist. I did contact the seller on the day it was delivered but I have heard nothing. I don't even want to try and buy another thing as it's a waste of time and money also it's a huge disappointment.

You have 30 days following the latest estimated delivery date to open a Money Back Guarantee case for not receiving the item. If the seller can't provide an online delivery confirmation (or attempted delivery scan) to the delivery address you selected when ordering you are guaranteed a full refund.

Frequently....Royal mail tracking just does not work.Seems as though theres something in it why E Bay uk changed to use royal mail.Despite recieving tracking details and loging into royal mail tracking all it ever says is "An attempt will be made to notify you when its out for delivery"...No use to the buyer at all.At least Amazon their deliveries have it off to a T

Why did ebay uk change its delivery system..It worked.....after the ongoing royal mail scandel its not to be trusted in any field

No use to the buyer at all.At least Amazon their deliveries have it off to a T
Amazon own the delivery service ebay do not own Royal mail so chalk and chesse realy.

I've always used royal mail even for my amazon seling never had an issue that could not be resolved.
Not sure what difference you are talking about ive been here for 19 years selling never used ebays postage when there are cheaper rated out there.

I had a real big problem with Yodel.I got all the typical excuses saying I was not in when I was after several messages to Yodel the last one said EPS system could not find me which is just bonkers as I do not live in a remote place. They did send my parcel back to sender and the seller used Royal Mail and I got it in 3 days.It did take 40 days in total. Yodel address label was underneath.I was thinking there was an error on the label but it was perfect.I was wondering if there is some big issue with all the different delivery companies,like Royal Mail was targeted a while ago.I now have parcels I am waiting for from Evri and Yodel and I think there has got to be something going off.

i am facing same issue , i am ebay seller and from last 4 to 5 month have a big problem to send parcel to italy. they are taking too long time to clear the parcel from custom like i still have 5 parcel still in custom in italy Milan and Rome that i posted on 5th of October and tracking says ( your parcel is with custom ) also i refunded all of my customers. i even attached Vat paid invoice with the parcels with code IM2760000742 and sent via royal mail tracked delivery. i also email to custom authority in italy but they didnt reply.

I am experiencing the same thing and have had several items not received and cases opened but no way of tracking as it just says delayed. This is affecting my seller profile and is definitely not good for the customer. I have to stump up the cost of postage and the loss of the item with no recourse.

THE WHOLE DSR.S ARE A JOKE IT DOES NOT WORK DOES NOT REMOVE LATE DELIVERYS. WHEN YOU APPLY TO HAVEW THEM REMOVED. ROYAL MAIL ARE NOW 3 WEEKS BEHIND ON DELIVERYS . YET WQE STILL GET SCREWED . FOR 3 MONTHS NOW. I HAVE LOST MY TOP RATEDE SELLER. LEVELL .AND EBAY DO NOTHINK

My parcel arrived via Evri badly damaged with the consequence of negative feedback. I have not found a way to deal with this.

I would reply to the feedback explaining that you are sorry this happened and how frustrating it is for sellers when we are let down by delivery services, remember your reply is for future buyers not for the person who left the negative feedback. I would also request a revision as it is not your fault. I have had this work occasionally but not always.
