I am a business seller and been on ebay for 26 years, i sold an item to a customer and he contacted me to say he hadn't received item yet.
He was very rude and demanding, but i checked and he should have got it but hadnt, he waited a couple more days and still didnt come, so to stop all the moaning i refunded him in full. he was very rude and left me neutral feedback but with very negative feedback.
I checked a few days later to find the item had been delivered and heard nothing from him, i contacted him to ask if he was going to pay or return item and had no response.
Long story short, i contacted ebay support today and after a long time they basically said because i refunded without them opening a case i was no covered by any sort of support regarding this, and that they had blocked me which why they were not getting my messages, they said they were not prepared to contact him and the only solution they had was to circumvent the block but contacting them via someone elses account!
So i have lost the item, my money from the sale and the postage i paid just because i thought i was doing the right thing!
