Advice please, just had my first case opened, as item not received, but it shows as delivered.

Just had my first case opened against me as a seller, as item not received, but it shows as delivered.

The tracking details show as cannot be updated on the Ebay case, as the tracking shows as delivered.
I was going to add the tracking details again.

Do I just leave it and will eBay clear the matter up without the case being closed against me.

If the tracking shows delivery, the case will close in your favour. Have you messaged the buyer to say that the parcel shows delivery? You should be able to get a photo and GSP co ordinates from your courier.

Thank you for your reply, the tracking shows as attempted delivery twice to their, then the buyer collected it and signed for it at the collection point, which I assume is the local post office / sorting office.

As belt and braces, I do a summary in the case notes confirming tracked number uploaded checked and correct, screenshot the full tracking details showing delivery attempts and in this instance item now collected.  Keep it polite and factual.  I think it just shows you've checked the case details/ done your own due diligence.

Re: Advice please, just had my first case opened, as item not received, but it shows as delivered.

eBay's tracking details are notoriously slow to update, but if you haven't already done so add the tracking details to the case that the buyer opened against you.  That way once eBay put a trace on the tracking details via the courier's website and see that the details prove that delivery was attempted on two separate occasions, only for the buyer to subsequently collect the item at a later date, they will close the case in your favour.

In the event that you have not already do so by the time you read this reply make sure that you add the buyer's User ID to your Blocked Bidders List so as to prevent him/her from purchasing anything else from you in the future and causing you any further aggravation.

Thank you, I did indeed block the buyer, very unfair, after nearly 30 days of the package showing as collected, shame on them.
