A bit unfair ?

I recently sold an item.

When the buyer got it they werent happy with it so did a return.

I got the item back and promptly refunded the buyer.

I then did a search for cheapest items like mine.

It no longer showed up in a cheapest search  yet all my other items do.

It smells a bit of ebay blocking listings after a return has been done on it.

Out of interest I ended the item and then relisted it.

It now shows no problem at all.

If I pay for a listing I expect ebay to show it.

Items do get returned for minor or major reasons so its unfair to block them.

I''m not sure I'm right in saying this,  but automatically relisted items whether relisted from being returned,  or auto relisting after 30 days for a BIN,  I believe are not shown top of lists as they are not ' new' items.

I end items before they auto relist,  then relist with sell similar, seems to work to place them higher in searches,  for a little while anyway!

I have a return coming back any day now for change of mind, even though I have No Returns, I don't like to disappoint, so I'm happy to receive the item back, and the it will be listed under sell similar.

Using sell similar will give the listing a brand new item number and will be classed as a new listing and add you to the newly listed items.

Using relist does not do this, you get the old item number and will not classed as a new listing.
