That's a shame, but I am genuinely surprised we do not see more replies like this. We are quite lucky that most still respond quite happily to our requests.

Hard luck mate,  is it not enough we pay for postage and that they have probably earned a decent living as actors anyway?
I have to say I would never buy an autograph unless I was desperate for it and that person was no longer with us, I feel we have already paid for it my making them famous and quite often very wealthy, after all without the likes of us, they would be just like us.

#4 - You have to remember, many did not make vast fortunes out of their careers, some even end up living extremely tough lives and really cannot afford stamps. Yvonne has taken the same sensible approach as many, which is selling her autographs. Ingrid Pitt, who is dearly missed, did this for many years to good effect.

It is not up to us to judge who can afford to respond to requests though, and no-one owes us an autograph. They do us a favour by signing autographs for our collections, and if some choose to sell their autographs to support their income, so be it.

I agree with the comments that actors don't owe us an autograph but as you say Daz, she could have returned your pics. Bad luck.

Sorry guys you know my feelings on this I totally agree with Steve.....but totally agree she should have sent your picture back in with the reply she sent.....so to me it seems she just didnt want to sign it she wanted the money as most people in the public eye are money driven these days....shame....
But I agree that if they want to sell autographs on their website to make sure people have access to them then I'm cool with that also some actors/singers are away for months and as some of us on her have waited years for replies!!!! it's a way of keeping the time scale for waiting down...

Nashville here we come !
