intresting article

An interesting article indeed,I think hes over egging it a bit and his laws/behaviour patterns are not ones Ive encountered in baseball collecting especially his ideas on pristine items and his idea that hell sign more when he gets paid more in the majors,Im sure anyone who collects baseball will tell you its much ,much easier to get players in the minors than the majors, without looking i cant be sure of the exact figures but I reckon last summer at the two minor league games we went to (A ,AAA) we got about 30 autograhs,at the major league game we got two..and last year was no different to previous years or will I expect be different to this year, thanks for the article an interesting read

intresting article

I enjoyed the article-I could certainly come under his 'shark' heading-an older autograph hunter, possibly getting a number of cards signed, sometimes in pristine condition, but I am a collector not a dealer,so you can't make assumptions on everyone.
I have often been asked if I am selling them which I always answer it is for my collection, and as I normally have other items on me which are multi-signed,they usually realise I am telling the truth.
I actually agree with one of the replies to his statement, that unsigned cards (especially the older ones) sell for more than the signed cards,so in some cases, signing the card may actually devalue it!
