Not the best of weather to go out in yesterday but my daughter's baby was allowed home Monday afternoon as did a bit of shopping for her and whilst I was in Accrington I had a look in a couple of charity shops that were open. As you can see I paid £8 for this, could be the most I've ever paid for a signed item but for me worth its weight in gold..........
This Accrington Stanley shirt is from 2003-2004 season, The only season Hyndburn Borough Council were sponsor's of the club they did sign up for 3 seasons but the town was in uproar as it was money that should of been spent on other things so the terminated the contract after the 1st year. Shirt is signed by the squad including manager John Coleman and assistant Jimmy Bell who still have the same rolls today along with 21 players sigs,
