Nice find Alex. He became an obvious media whore, but has his place in history whether right or wrong as a result. A good find my friend.

Chuffed to bits with a lovely find in a charity shop this morning. £1.49 got me the original 1972 release of the Edward Woodward Album.
It is in beautiful condition which is amazing for a 38 year old album. The sleeve has a nice leather effect with gilt lettering on the front and purple lettering on the rear. The gatefold opens to show pictures from Edward's personal photo album, and he has autographed one of these pictures. You can feel the imprint of his signature.

Nice find Alex although it's not one I would have bought. Not my cup of tea. The Edward Woodward find is a great find Nigel. Well done.

I have seen Peter's book so many times over the last few years and wondered when I would land a signed copy. Makes a nice little subset with Norman Schwarzkopf and HRH General Khaled Bin Sultan - three members of the top brass from the first Gulf War.

Charity shop find for £1 today landed me my first ever baseball Hall of Famer.
The Owner's Wife USA HB 1st 2004 Limited Edition Numbered 578/1000 by Mary Ann Chricchio.
The book is signed by both Mary Ann Chricchio and Jim Palmer. Mary Ann and her late husband founded Da Mimmo's Restaurant which is famed for being a hangout of the famous. Mary Ann still runs the restaurant and Jim co-signed the book as he was their first celebrity guest. From wikipedia - James Alvin "Jim" Palmer (born October 15, 1945), nicknamed "Cakes," is a former Major League Baseball right-handed starting pitcher who played his entire career for the Baltimore Orioles (1965–1984). He was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1990.
Both have lovely signatures.
