Went to the trafford centre yesterday chrimbo shopping with the missus, nipped into waterstones and there must have been about 12 different signed books from everone from lee evans, danni minogue to a few horror writers i didnt know, not my cup of tea so dint bother with any, then nipped into whsmiths at selfriges and saw a gino dicampo signed book, again not my cup of tea so didnt bother, coming out of selfridges i bumped into frank worthington, i had my George best legend shirt on and he as i caught his eye he said "crackin shirt kid" smiled and walked off, i didnt bother with a graff or owt cos he was a bit laden with bags but i thought on the way home i could have gone home with an armful of graphs while in manchester but none of em would have been united related lol oh well just thought id share my little tale while im bored, cheers people

I was lucky when I went up to Manchester a few months back by picking up signed Mike Summerbee and Rodney Marsh autobiographies, but like you found, there were loads of others I could have bought if I wanted.

sounds like a nice day out - A worthington graff would have been good - he was one of the rel entertainers .... and some more - great character!!

At least you got some diversions from the horrors of shopping. Pity you couldn't find anything of interest to you but that was a nice compliment from Frank Worthington.
