I sent a copy of Wayne's Autobiography, Found in a charity shop for a £1, off to him Via Carrington on the 28th of February. Today the book has been returned to me signed by Man Utd's No 10. Wayne Mark Rooney (born 24 October 1985) is a English footballer who plays as a striker for Premier League club Manchester United and the England national team. Aged 10, Rooney joined the youth team of Everton, for whom he made his professional debut in 2002. He spent two seasons at the Merseyside club, before moving to Manchester United for £25.6 million in the 2004 summer transfer window. Since then, United have won the Premier League three times, the 2007–08 UEFA Champions League and two League Cups with Rooney in the team. He has also been awarded the PFA Players' Player of the Year and the FWA Footballer of the Year in 2009–10. Thank's a million Wayne Rooney Again...This is the second autobiography Wayne has signed for me..Must be the content of the letters I suppose. Happy days are here again.

That's a great success. He seems to like signing his autobiography but not photo's, trading cards etc.

Nice one Alex - seeing double! 🙂 Still a great player, and will be for a while to come.
I think any kind of official product like this will always be favoured over pics, etc by some. Book requests rarely fail.

#9 - Books rarely do fail. Of the many books I have sent ttm I would probably only write off 2 or 3, and I have sent a lot of books ttm. Alex's success rate is testament to that as well. Were your requests during a particularly sulky period for him? Is there any reason the club/player might not have liked your requests?

Books have worked wonders for me...As you can see.
As Nigel said most people will sign their own Autobiography...Rather than the 12x8 photo's.
Alan If I see another I'll pick it up and send it off for you.
I sent the Monday after he scored that "Wonder Goal" against City....Told him I was sat next to Asa Hartford when be scored that one. Just slip the words "Accrington Stanley" into your letter Works everytime.
