Brigit Forsyth - 78 days
This is a good one for me. I have been trying to get Brigit ttm since my early days collecting ttm 12 years ago. The last time I tried was in late 2007. She is known for being tough ttm, so it came as a surprise to me to get a reply from my latest attempt, and such a nice reply. Really, really chuffed with this.
Brigit kindly signed both my pics, and sent a nice note inside a small greeting card.

Plymouth Argyle - 31 days
I picked up this leisurewear Plymouth shirt with the badge on for £1.99 in a charity shop. I sent my request to Carl Fletcher knowing he had played for Watford, and asked if he could also get the team to sign the shirt, which he duly did, and it looks great. 22 signatures all signed with the silver sharpie I sent. The pen did not come back, but well worth the loss of a pen for this shirt.
In the 90s I worked with a Plymouth supporter in London. He would drive up on Monday morning, stay in digs then go home Friday evening. If Plymouth played anywhere near the south midweek I would join him if Watford were not playing, and likewise he would join me at Watford matches. Depending whose team we we were watching, the other one of us would be known as The Green Hornet. It worked well for both of us. 🙂
I told Carl about these days, plus the fun times we had, and asked if the shirt could be dedicated to The Green Hornet, and they duly obliged. Fantastic success for me.

I had a similar request by the Rochdale lads when Ex Stanley manager John Coleman jined them..That's a cracking shirt done in Silver.
Pleased that you finally got Brigit to sign your Dr Who cards too.

#4 Paul - my eBay name comes from Watford being known as The Hornets. The name gets shortened to Horns and 'Orns at times by some supporters. The Green Hornet name comes from a combo of the Watford nickname and Plymouth playing in, well, green. 🙂 My mate would also just be known as Green Bloke.

Well done with the reply from Brigit and nice to see a reply from my neck of the woods! Glad they signed it all for you.As you say, the 'Green Army' will travel all over the country to see Argyle play. In 1985 when I had a short spell working in Swindon,I would still travel back to watch home games even midweek ones, then driving back to Swindon again afterwards!
