Pam St Clement - 22 days

Pam is missed in EastEnders, but it sounds like she is keeping busy. She also confirmed that a short form of her signature is indeed genuine. She kindly signed my Doctor Who pic and older Pat Butcher card plus sent one of her last cards with an example of the short sig, and a nice note on both sides of an EE comp slip. One of the EE greats.

Selva Rasalingam - 15 days

Selva kindly signed the Doctor Who and Carry On Columbus pics plus the record card I sent. I love Carry On Columbus even if most do not. I have slowly collected sigs on Columbus pics whenever I write to a cast member for something else. Surprised to find out I now have 14 sigs from the film.

I really like the reply from Pam St Clement and the note she added. Although I don't watch EE, I know Pat. Legendary character. Nice quick and smudge free reply from Rob Cavazos.

Three brilliant replies Nigel and especially like the letter back from Pam confirming her shortened signature.

Thanks all. It's not the first time I have queried a signature with a celeb over the years, but Pam is the first person who has ever replied about it.

#7 Carl - Not forgotten your question mate, but I did not have time to check until just now. Good question as well. 🙂

What is surprising is how many I used to have but still not have. My original collection had about 415 signed cards, but my new collection now has 473 different signed cards. Despite having a lot more these days, there are still 45 signed cards I used to have that I do not have in my current collection. There are also other newer cards I am still missing.

The good news is that I have already replaced the hardest to get card I used to have with a surprise ttm success earlier this year, and of those 45, with patience, only 3 to 4 may be very hard to find. I will have to spend a little more than usual to replace some of these though.

Also, my current collection contains quite a few signed cards I never managed to get first time round including the super incredibly rare Michael Elphick signed Harry Slater card. It is easily the rarest single card in my collection.

As well as the 473 signed cards, I also have all the pet cards, unsigned baby/child cards, and the 8 official 25th anniversary cards each with a signature on.

Easier question to answer Carl. Unlike the EE collection which is on official cards, my old Dr Who collection was all custom printed 8x5 inch record cards. They can never be replaced as many have already passed away. I was not going to collect a Dr Who theme again, but enjoyed the Matt Smith stuff so much that I decided to go for it with 4x6 photos, and as well as new stuff, try to get some old stuff as well. I can never get everyone on this format due to the grim reaper having had his wicked way with too many, so would happily obtain these autographs on any format if they came my way.

Great day for you Nigel. Excellent additions to the EE and DW collections. Didn't  realize that you also collected Carry on Columbus signatures as well.

#18 - I have a few sub collections like Columbus, but mainly include something for signing if the person crosses over with one of my main collections.
