Nice one Nigel..Pleased for you..What sort of pen has he used to sign your cards?

It's the crap photo paper I mentioned in another thread - never buy Xerox photo paper. It cannot handle biro. Thankfully my last batch of requests and future ones was with trusty Mirror photo paper which I never had problems with.
Ironically, the Quadrophenia pic still looks ok, and the Red Dwarf one not too bad, but the Wake Wood pic looks the worst.
Pleased all the same as I had heard he was a tough one, and this was my first attempt at writing to him.

Tell me about it Sy. It was long overdue I wrote to him. Definitely one of my favourite British actors. He is great in Wake Wood, the recent Hammer Horror film.

Looks as though the ink has seperated, is that what happens Nigel?? If so, then it looks like he has put them to one side to dy too:)

11 - No mate. the photo paper is so crap, the biro has basically scratched a signature into the image instead of writing on top of the image. The Dr Who reply today was an older request when I was using Mirror paper - no such problems - biro signature perfectly on surface. As soon as I saw what was happening with the Xerox paper I bought myself some Mirror paper straight away, and have binned the remaining Xerox sheets.

I like that reply, he's always worth watching. I've been thinking of writing to him but still haven't got around to it.
