One of my favourites today. The man who introduced me to Dadaism.

Barry Humphries - 21 days via theatre

Barry kindly signed the HB 1/1 of Handling Edna I sent to him via his farewell tour. This was such a fun read, so I am thrilled to get the double attention of a signed/dated/located/dedicated inscription and a correctly signed title page. Nice.

Great result Nigel :)Although I have a few signed books why is the book correctly signed on the title page is because of the line going through the name what makes this correct and why is this done?

Sy - It is correct etiquette for the author to do this. In fact, many old school authors would also say that ONLY the named author(s) should sign a book on the title page as the title page shows who wrote the words in the book. Few worry about that these days.

Fantastic result, Nigel. He's a wonderful entertainer. I really wanted to see the London show but unfortunately, I can't make it.

Thanks for that Nigel interesting and I suppose being a serious collector of books yourself having it signed old school is better 🙂
