Chucky Venn - 3 days via EE
Really pleased to get a quick reply from Chucky who recently joined the cast. He kindly signed my record card with a dedication (also just signed on the reverse), and sent a signed/dedicated EE card.
I met Chucky in May 2003 when he was part of Sky's Dream Team, and they played a game at Watford as part of a benefit game. Nice guy and along with some other Dream Team guys had plenty of time for everyone.

was wondering how long youve been collecting the EEcards and how many do you have?? are any worth a bob or two??

Carl - Long story - will try to keep it brief, though not easy for a rambler like me. 🙂
This is actually my second EE collection. I have been writing off for the cards for 11 years, and buying older ones that cannot be obtained by writing to people.
In 2007 I had to sell my original EE collection, and many other autographs to fund a house move at short notice, so our daughter could go to a better day centre in a different area. Post code lottery, so you have to live somewhere before you can apply for services, I had been tipped off there was only a limited time frame for moving, and applying for a goldmine space, so needed to raise money fast.
At that point I had 409 different signed EE cards. The eBay market was quite good back then, and I sold many at premium prices. By the time the sale was finished, there were only 65 left. I was originally not going to collect them again as I was gutted to have to in the first place, but in April 2008 I started writing again, and got the bug again. By late 2008/early 2009 the economy had nosedived, and I picked up a lot of older cards to replace many I had sold at a fraction of the price I sold the others for.
To cut a long story short, through writing lots of requests, and buying older cards, I now have a collection that is bigger than my previous collection. The current collection stands at 441 different signed EE cards.
My only regret is selling three cards. Two that are very rare and will be hard to replace, and one from young Thomas Law dedicated to me where he states on the card this was the first card he ever sent to anyone. Apart from those, using existing knowledge about the cast, and the cards, it was easy to build a new collection.

That's some feat to rebuild your collection after having to sell them, Nigel. I used to watch EE but I haven't seen it for years so, I don't know who many of the present cast members are. The cards look so good though.
