Continuing a very good start to the year, a panto reply, and my first new EE card of 2013.

Sonia - 31 days via panto

One of my few extra panto requests. Someone I like as a personality, but had never written to.
Sonia kindly signed the pic and index card I sent, plus sent her own signed pic.

Lorna Fitzgerald - 136 days via Elstree

Lorna kindly signed my index card and sent me two signed EE cards, one dedicated. This is her third different card since she started.

Lovely reply from Sonia. She seems such a cheerful lady. You've done well with the EE cards, Nigel. It seems a never ending collection which is more of a challenge.

It is a good challenge Suzanne. Like those on here who collect the Man Utd club cards and similar, you are at the mercy of the people you write to for new cards, and it can be costly/time consuming hunting for older cards (signed or unsigned).

Something that always amuses me about EE autographs. Dealers flood ebay with signed 8x10s and signed 4x6s, but the real money is only in the official BBC cards, and it will always be that way. They are intensely collectible and many, many people collect them.
