Typhoon HB 1/1 2008 by Charles Cumming - £1
Charles is a very popular author, and his books sell well.
Board Meetings In the Bath : The Knebworth House Story HB 1/1 1986 by Chrissie Lytton Cobbold - £1.50
A nice little find this. Chrissie and her husband moved into Knebworth in 1970, and turned it into what we know today with concerts and much more.
My favourite find this week is -
Top-Hats In Tobruk HB 1/1 1983 by Kenneth Rankin - £2
The book is like a diary of events from Aug 1940 to Sep 1941 following Kennth's troop of anti-aircraft gunners who took part in early North African campaigns. It provides an authentic hour by hour account of the Siege of Tobruk.
Kenneth passed away in 1996 aged 87. This book is dated 1984 and obviously presented to a fellow "Rat". Inside the book are two fully typed letters that pre-date the book, and tell of the authors efforts to get the book published, plus two order forms for the book - one unused, and the other used, I assume to order this particular copy. Really pleased with this find.

I have to agree with the others and say the Kenneth Rankin book is the real prize of these three finds. Should be a fascinating read.
