Three to report today I found one and Briteny found the other two. Most Charity shops we look in have a children's section containing toys and books etc. While I rummage through the shelves Briteny looks through the children's stuff. Briteny's finds first.......
Hard backed first edition from 2010 titled "Cherry Crush the chocolate box girls" by Cathy Cassidy. dedicated to Erin and still has the post it note in front of the book. as luck would have it Briteny has a cousin called Erin who will be 13 in August so this will be a Birthday prezzie later on in the year. This was 49p from a charity shop in Darwen

Briteny's second find was in the same shop and same price 49p. hard backed first edition from 2012 titled ""Kissing Shakespear" by Pamela Mingle. signed to bookplate and in Perfect unread condition. Pamela is a former teacher and lives over in Colorado. This is her first novel.

And finally my find From a charity shop over in Darwen costing £1.49. Hard backed first edition from 1998 titled "Wasim" the autobiography of Wasim Akram, Dedicated to John. Nice addition to my signed cricket/Lancashire CC collection.
Wasim Akram is a former Pakistani cricketer. He was a genuine left arm fast bowler who could bowl with significant pace and left-handed batsman who represented the Pakistan national cricket team in Test cricket and One Day International (ODI) matches.
Akram is regarded as one of the greatest fast bowlers in the history of cricket. He holds the world record for most wickets in List A cricket with 881 and is second only to Sri Lankan off-spin bowler, Muttiah Muralitharan in terms of ODI wickets with 502. He is considered to be one of the founders and perhaps the finest exponent of reverse swing bowling. Akram had a very special talent to move the ball both ways in one delivery which is called " double swing of Wasim Akram". No one in cricket history has done it so far.
