Theo Foley ex Charlton/Northampton reply.....

Sent an old Charlton Ath team photo to Theo Foley via Charlton A. FC on 1/4 and received it back signed on 19/4.

Theo Foley was a defender who played for various clubs in the 1960/70's including Burnley, Exeter City, Northampton Town and Charlton Ath. He also made 9 appearances for the Rep of Ireland.

After finishing playing he went into management with Charlton, QPR and later Northampton T. In the 1980's he teamed up with George Graham at Millwall and the pair led the club from the 4th Div to the 2nd Div. When Graham moved on to Arsenal, Theo follwed and they were successful, winning the League Cup in 1987 and the 1st Div Championship in 1989.

Nice one Stuart, Theo is a fabulous bloke though crippled with bad knees at the moment.
