Swine Flu

Sorry i havnt been about but daughter came down with swine flu on christmas day,so had a stressful few days she is okay and resting at home but definatly not the christmas we intended.
Would like to thank everyone for making me feel so welcome over the last six months since i joined the forum,looking forward to sending out a lot more requests in the  new year and sharing in everyone elses success

Sorry to hear your news when the wife was in hospital they were admitting a lot of people with it glad she had the jab.

Glad your little one is on the mend must have been very worrying we all had swine flu when it started and its not nice at all.

Glad she's on the mend, Been full a horrible cold/Man Flu

Ty everyone for your kind words she is definatly on the mend had some soup  tonight and had a moan at me which is always a good sign.

i have had that - its not nice, but the joke was i got it during a heatwave! ended up not being able to breathe properly and went to a and e for a couple of hours, couldn't move for days - it seems to attack the lungs more than anywhere else. so if your daughter even has the slightest lung problem i.e acute asthma make sure you have a reliever pump ready.
