Still no Dorrie but some good finds

Still no Dorrie books, but while browsing a children's section did come across the following three for 50p each. After checking the first, then the second I just had a feeling the third was also signed. Pity the fourth book was not there, but all first editions, so bargains!

It's not something I would normally do Greg. I know there is a huge market in children's books from the past, but it is not something that has ever interested me too much. My wife on the other hand loves her old childhood books, and still has quite a few.

That's a really good find, Nigel. Some children's books have wonderful illustrations but, I don't look as I have far too many books as it is. I'm still looking out for Dorrie though.

Fantastic finds Nigel and well done to you for sending them to Richard it is very kind of you .

I had another look over the weekend for the Dorrie books but I had no luck but I did find another two Topical Times football books for my collection , they were in the children's section and if I wasn't looking for the Dorrie books I would never have found them as I usually bypass the children's section.
