Hi guys after meeting Steve Bruce after the sunderland game a few weeks ago he signed my programme in red pen which i was unhappy about as the others had signed in black marker and this really stood out so i sent this off to Steve via Sunderland FC explaining this and he kindly returned my programme signed in black marker, Thanks Steve

Nice one Jamie,I'm like you and prefer things to be signed in the same pen if possible and I get frustrated when players sometime keep signing with one persons pen which doesn't match yours.

Pleased you got it sorted out at the second attempt Jamie, and congrats also with Big Jack. two great legends of the game.

I can see the appeal of uniform pen/ink colours of signatures, but have never been too fussed myself until the United shirt which I am sending out with the red sharpie, and do think it looks good. Although I have sent a silver sharpie with three pics I sent to an old Who cast member - all 3 pics were dark, so I am hoping the silver sharpie will work well. If it does, I may try it more often with dark pics.
