I called into the Works bookshop today looking for another signed copy of Phil Vickery's autobiography for one of the members on here...only the one left on the shelf and it was signed but has a tear to the DJ top right corner to the front...right on the edge of the hard cover. Nice Graph inside.
Look at the pic Stuart...it's not as bad as it it looks..still a bargain. Your if you still want it.

David Baddiel's latest novel..""The death of Eli Gold" first edition from 2011 in pristine condition.
David has written and performed in a series of highly successful comedy shows on T.V including The Mary Whitehouse Experience, Fantasy football, Baddiel and Skinner unplanned...remember him? I do. Nice find and price for a brand new signed book.
Your Works has been good value lately Alex. Nice Baddiel find. He has written a few books now. Nice pickup for Stuart - dj's can be replaced easily for modern books as there should be plenty of unsigned copies out there going cheap.

Debut novel that is getting good feedback. Nicely signed/dated and lined. Protected by a mylar cover.
Tomorrow's World HB 1/1 1970 by Raymond Baxter and James Burke
A real blast from the past. 41 years old and in lovely shape, well protected by a mylar cover. Signed by both stars of the show. Raymond used to live locally to me where I grew up. Looking forward to reading this to see what ideas they were buzzing about 41 years ago, and whether any amounted to anything. 99p on eBay.
Pre-ordered a signed copy of Gary Neville's HB 1/1 Red which he was signing at Waterstones Canary Wharf on Thursday lunchtime. I had hoped to get along, but could not get out of work. Picked the book up on Friday lunchtime. They honoured the discount so only £13.99 instead of £18.99. While there found a signed copy of The Bunny Years by USA tv star Kathryn Leigh Scott for £3.99 in their bargain bin. I already have one of these ironically, but will use one as a ttm project now. Kathryn has one of the nicest signatures I have seen.
Yesterday had a good mooch in some London book shops while picking up the new Alistair Darling book, and shamelessly ended up with four great signed books including Alistair's -

NB: Sue is a brilliant actress and interesting lady. Waterstones Piccadilly had this at £5 off rrp, so this purchase was never in doubt.

Horns HB 1/1 2010 by Joe Hill - nicely doodled also.
NB: Son of Stephen & Tabitha King. Had read Heart Shaped Box which was very good, so this was a must when I spotted it while getting the Jermaine Jackson book.
