Travelled over to St Albans today to meet Sheila Steafel at her book signing. Have been plotting this one for a few months, and prayed Kelly would not be having a bad day. The stars were in my favour today. 🙂 Not often I have pure "me" time like this these days.
Sheila was a big favourite of mine when I was growing up, in many great tv shows and films during the 60s/70s/80s. One of those people you instantly warm to, and played some great characters.

Sheila's book was £12.99 on the day, and she also signed a Doctor Who photo for me. A lovely lady to meet. Hard to believe she is 75 now as she looks a lot younger. Charming lady, with a great smile. Pleased I made the effort to meet her today. Unusually, there was not much blank space on the title page, and she favours big handwriting, so she used the first blank page inside the book. Made my day meeting one of the great personalities from my youth.
