Guy Whittingham and Danny Webber - 7 days

Bit of a special one for me, and reward for perseverance and sneaky back door collecting. Since Nov 2003 I have tried to get Danny five times on one of my 8x5 cards - twice via Watford, twice via Sheffield United and the last time in 2009 via Portsmouth. Never had a reply.

I have upped my Watford card collecting this year, so while writing to Guy Whittingham via Portsmouth who is coaching there, asked if he could also please get Danny to sign a card for me, and explained my efforts to date. Thrilled to get both cards back signed this morning. My sae was not used or returned.

Well done Nigel a great double result . It must be very satisfiying getting Danny Webber after trying so hard for so long . I have a couple of Celtic players I've tried a few times at different clubs without sucess so I might try your great idea mate .
