Another great Dr Who reply Nigel well done.
I was watching celebrity cash in the attic last night and Maureen Lipman was donating some items for charity and auctioned the dress she wore on the episode of Dr Who when she was in the tv sucking peoples faces off and it sold for £400 not a bad price for a Dr Who collector .

#2 - I have no doubt I would have become a total Who anorak myself if my memorabilia had not been stolen from storage when my dad had our house rebuilt in the early 80s. It disheartened me, and I stopped collecting memorabilia from Who until 1999 when I met Colin Baker and it rekindled all the old memories, and got me started on the path of collecting autographs. 🙂 I never stopped watching the show though. Of all the stuff that was stolen, what I miss the most are the masters and few issues of a fanzine I was doing at the time called Zygon.

#5 - As you say, a decent deal for a Who memorabilia collector. Our of my price range, and not something I would actively collect myself. Books take up enough space for me, let alone costumes/props - that's a whole different ball game, and you need plenty of space.

I do like the cards you do for Doctor Who. I wonder if the actors wonder where you get them from.

#11 - Thanks Suzanne. I have had a few responses about them since I started doing them, but not asking where I got them from. I think most (even the older stars) are now used to people having quick access to shows/images via computers. A few are amused at being reminded how young they used to be, or horrified at how they looked (when he first appeared in Who, it took me three attempts before John Barrowman would sign a pic as he did not like the images I used the first two times - still have one somewhere with his unsigned scrawl on the back telling me so). 🙂 Tommy Campbell showed them on facebook. Mason Kayne (Ashes To Ashes) modelled his own pics on my design and sent me signed copies of all his pics as a thank you. A few have asked for their own copies. At the end of the day, I think most appreciate that as a fan I have fun making them.

Nigel, it must be quite satisfying to have the actors appreciate your work. As you say, it is fun to create your own cards and it makes your collection unique.
