After a great day yesterday, two failures in one day today -

Twiggy Lawson - 19 days c/o PFD - address given on her website

My book returned unsigned in my reply envelope. Heavy book so an expensive failure.

Wilf Rostron - 5 days c/o International Furniture

Former Watford player from golden era. Returned rts, addressee gone away.

#6 - Not a one off Daz, all ttm collectors get failures from time to time. I probably average about 10 failures per year. Some through my targets passing away, some rts (various reasons), some return unsigned, and the occasional oddity. I would have mentioned had there been an explanation.

Some people do not like posting their failures which is a shame, but it is important to do so -

1. People might same some pennies.

2. Someone might know an alternate addie to try.

#10 - I will keep looking for a new addie for Wilf - he was one of my favourites. On the plus side, I may have tracked down a second member of that 1953 side, so that team pic will be off again.

Thanks, and most appreciated.

Wilf was a brilliant player for Watford and robbed of a cup final place by a really dubious decision away to them up the M1 of all places which left him suspended. He was a crucial first teamer and leader.
