It's been quite a few months since I've last posted, but I come with horrible news. American comic great Robin Williams ("Good Morning Vietnam," "Mork and Mindy," "Dead Poet's Society") killed himself this morning, 8/11/14. He was 61.
Desperately sad, his performances were special, a real depth of humanity to them and to him. We still have no real understanding of depression in our society.
Very sad news indeed. He was a wonderful actor and so very, very funny. He will be sadly missed. R.I.P. Robin Williams. One of the modern greats of my era.
This news has really upset me. I have really enjoyed Robin's work over the years both the comedy and the drama's. We can only hope there is a better understanding of depression and mental illness.
