Sad news about an old footballer.....

Sent some items to ex Arsenal, Man Utd, Stoke C. and Scotland forward David Herd and received everything back today with a note:

  "Stuart.  Unfortunately David is now in a nursing home & suffering from Alzheimers and so unable to sign your papers.I am therefore returning everything to you as I know how precious they will be.  Best wishes   Ruth".

Very sad news. Yet another old player suffering in this way.

Sad news Stuart,I think I had heard that he wasn't able to sign anymore.I think this is the same with former Norwich captain Duncan Forbes and I think Dave Mackay is finding it harder to sign now as well.
