Replies from people youve never even written

Knocks reply from the wrong person got me thinking,I expect its happened to all of us that have been collecting for awhile(I received a reply from the wrong Phil Bennett,hed written a letter to The Times on the state of Welsh Rugby,he lived in the same town but he wasnt The Phil B)
Anyway how many of us have received a reply from someone weve never written to?,many years ago I received a signed photo from Carol Barnes,rather odd as I never wrote to her but she also thanked me for my wonderfull poem about flying9needless to say I dont write poems...)....I had written to Alistair Burnett (who had replied) so it was a bit of a mystery..

Im sure several long time collectors have similar experiences9maybe without the poem..lol)

Ulrika Jonsson at the height of her worst publicity - received a signed pic in a reply envelope that had been sent for Melinda Messenger at the same agency. I had already had a reply from Melinda in her own envelope, but had never once written to Ulrika. Unexpected signed EE cards are common when you write regularly to Elstree as they often muddle letters and envelopes with the high volume of mail they receive.

I have never had a reply from someone I havent written to but I have had a second reply from Colleen Nolan and Bear Grylls, I only wrote to them once and to one place each but somehow I managed to get a second autograph from them.
Not really sure how it happened? I always send a reply envelope so when my first reply came back, how did they have my address to send the second?

got a letter once from chris evans pa saying the tfi friday tv show didnt give away props.
